Journey to Colmar in France and explore cobblestone streets that are lined with colourfully painted half-timbered houses. The town is a unique blend of German architecture and French charm or enjoy wine tasting at a vineyard in the Kaiserstuhl region.
Alternatively, visit Freiburg, located on the edge of the Black Forest, this vibrant city is renowned for its Medieval Old Town and sustainable mind set or, visit Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg, overlooking the Alsace plain, it has borne witness to centuries of conflicts and changes. Discover the fully furnished former living quarters of previous occupants as well as a collection of weaponry dating back to the Middle Ages.

Today you can choose from a diverse range of options, each truly unique yet equally fascinating.

Visit Baden Baden, the town is most famous for its casino and remains of the Roman baths, both of which you will learn about from your local guide today or, be transported into a world of luxury cars as you tour the Mercedes-Benz factory to learn how these admired cars are produced. Alternatively, explore the charming city of Strasbourg. This active walking tour will showcase the highlights of this city including the magnificent Cathedral or visit Schloss Favorite, originally built as a hunting lodge and summer house.

Day 4 - Rüdesheim
The afternoon visit the charming town of Rüdesheim, surrounded by lush green vineyards and lined with historic half-timbered buildings.

Day 5 - Cochem
A medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem will make you feel like you have directly stepped into a fairy tale.

Explore Cochem during a guided tour and visit the iconic Reichsburg Castle, or if you’re feeling more active, join a bicycle tour and explore the beautiful region.
This afternoon you will appreciate the allure of the Moselle Valley as you glide past charming villages and vine covered slopes towards Bernkastel.

Day 6 - Bernkastel

Take a walking tour through beautiful Bernkastel, with its perfectly preserved half-timbered houses located on the picturesque Moselle River or, journey to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for a guided tour. Alternatively, explore the slopes covered in green vineyards at a local winery. The Moselle Valley is considered one of the world’s premier locations for producing Riesling and today you have the opportunity to learn all about the wine produced in the region before tasting a delicious drop.

Tonight, you are in for a special treat with a private classical concert in the UNESCO listed Liebfrauenkirche located in the heart of the Roman city of Trier.

Day 7 - Koblenz
Our final stop on this glorious 8-day journey is Koblenz. This UNESCO listed city sits at the junction of where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet and has a fascinating past with over 2,000 years of history.

Join a walking tour of Koblenz and explore the charm and history of this impressive city including Duetsches Eck, or German Corner, the confluence of the Rhine & Moselle Rivers and where the memorial to Kaiser Wilhelm I proudly stands or choose to see the city aboard one of our Scenic e-bikes and travel further afield around this mighty city.
Alternatively, you may wish to explore the magnificent castle of Burg Eltz. This medieval castle dates back over 850 years and has remained in the possession of the same family during this period.
